I've got two gonioporas. A pink with yellow center and a crazy nuclear/neon green. The green one is the one in question. Everything in the tank seems to be doing great, but I haven't seen the green one open up in 4-5 days or so. It's been doing great in the tank for over a month. The last time I remember seeing it was right before water change and I had just feed both the goni's some goniopower. I'm currently on a roadtrip so I don't have the exact parameters of everything, but after the water change in question everything was normal. The only that had changed at all was the alk was down to 9dkh from 11dkh, and the nitrates were at 0.2ppm, which is the highest it had been in a long time. We just did a big water change (about 20%) right before we left yesterday evening. Did a water test before we left and everything was still normal, mag 1440ppm, nitrates 0ppm, Phosphates 0ppm, calcium 500, ph 8.4. (Sorry trying to remember all the parameters off the top of my head without being home) I know my star polyps went dormant for about 2 weeks for no reason and then came back pretty well, could this be a similar situation or am I going to loose the goni?
here the green goni is almost center, to the right of the candy canes, left of the zoas
here's a pretty bad picture of them from the top when they were open
angry from the snail... they used to extend about 1/2" or so
and the pink ones for comparison
