Moved On Up
i recently acquired a green flower pot coral.
i didn't know they were regarded as a very difficult species to keep but from what i have found recently they are...is this correct?
anyways i have few specific questions
do they have zoooxanthellea? i've been reading they have to be feed daily? true?
mine has many "heads' and seems to be in great shape and opens all day and also has many small, newer heads so i think it is doing well, just want to keep it that way.

with what, ive been using phyto injected near it, and some meaty items, i just didn't see it taking any of the meaty items.
how often?

yeah thanks corral addict, i already read the whole site. its a nice site but its just one hobbist's experience. i like getting other keepers ideas and expeience's with this coral.

This is a pic of my first Goni. Sorry about the quality. It was before digital cameras. It reached about half the size of a basket ball. I believe the reason I was successful with it was that I kept it fed. I made my own food in a blender. They didn't have the food they have today. If I didn't feed it for a few days it would begin to withdraw. After it was fed it would open back up again. In my opinion it takes food and lots of it to keep these corals happy.
