good fuge light(?)

found this bulb at HD while trying to desperately look for the bulb suggested at MELEV'S REEFwhich was also based on a thread here.

both bulbs are 55K. the one at melevsreef is 51K so i am assuming this bulb will be a good alternate as the 51K bulb at melevsreef is hard to get.

bulb on the left is equivalent to 100w. it is bright and daylight white in color. hopefully ill finally see growth on my fuge.

It will work. The spectrum is right. However the point to the melev's recommended bulb is two parts:

The spot light directs all the light to the fuge. This light will scatter more than half the light around your cabinet instead of to the fuge.

The spot light also encloses the bulb so that salt spray and splashes are easy to clean.


I like the bulb and am using the spot version.
