Good T5 fixture?

I would stay away from that T5 due to the fact that it has only one power cord. Most people like to use timers for actinic, daylight, moonlights. You would need to manually switch between these with that fixture.
I went with the Nova Extreme Pro 6 bulb SLR fixture on my 72. Fit pretty well with room in the front for feeding and access to the tank. I originally had 150 halide pendants but had heat issues so I went with the T5's. If you check Ebay Current USA sells remanufactured fixtures for around $300. Only downside to the fixture is lack of moonlights.

dito on the 1 power cord point. i went with 2 coralife fixtures, no built in monlights BUT i've had buil in moonlights go bad, so wasnt a pre-requisit. for moonlights i bought a stunnner strip, very happy with the results.

I have the Nova Extreme Pro on both of my tanks and love it. It has two power cords and six bulbs.

Haha yea that would be a nice fixture. Im a college student so im on a tight budget though. I might just go with 2 fixtures unless I can find a deal on a good one. Im planning to slowly buy stuff for my next tank so Ive got some time

PetCo, of all places, has some pretty affordable T5HO fixtures. Not the best of course, but if you're on a budget they actually would do the trick.

tcamos has the old Extreme Pro fixture that I used to run on a 72g bow... It grows everything!

Yes...yes it does. I hung it from the ceiling and after about a week had to raise it up a bit because it was too much light...

I had the same fixture but had to use the legs. It really was overpowered for the corals I had at the time. Wish I would have had the option of hanging it so I would have had some adjustment.

They also have two switches so you can run each set of lights on a timer so you only have full light for part of the day.
