Gorgonian help

I have an orange gorgonian in my tank and am currently fighting a bout with some hair algea. Strands of hair algea are smothering the gorgonian, what should I do to prevent injury or death to my gorgonian??

I try to blow off what I can with a powerhead. I could pull some off but don't because I don't want to hurt it by touching it.

Any suggestions??

i kinda had that same problem .. gently use something to wipe it off.. i always just used my finger .. that usually did the trick .
