It's been close to 4 years since anything that a hitch hike could have come in on, and I just finally got a good ID last night...Gorilla Crab. He's about the size of a medium Emerald Crab, and so far he's been pretty smart. Almost got him in the trap last night, but a damn snail popped the trap right as he was going into it. I lost a female clown a couple months back, didn't think much about it then because she was meaner than crap, but now I'm starting to wonder. I have spent countless hours at night looking through this tank at night and only noticed this guy about 3 weeks ago. Once he's caught, he'll be brought to my LFS as a nice tasty snack for the 850g DT. It's game on tonight!

I managed to catch the little SOB, while he was trying to rip a Hermit crab from his shell. I snuck up and grabbed him with a pair of long angled tweezers. He lost a leg, and threw his large claw, but he has been evicted. I ran him down to the LFS, where he became a meal for a Cuban Hogfish and a Parrot. I'll try to post pictures of him later.
I want to see the pics of him being eaten by the hogfish and parrot fish
I wish I had the video running, because his demise was absolute carnage. I didn't even have time for a picture. The hogfish grabbed it and started shaking it in front of the jealous parrot. He let go long enough for the parrot to bite him in half, and the hog ate the other piece. It was the most rewarding part of the whole ordeal. I'm still wondering how he managed to stay unseen for almost 4 years. I'm pretty sure that he started coming out because I threw a bunch of hermit crabs in the tank about a month ago. Based on the number of empty shells laying around, he was eating really well.
