gorilla crab

Hello,

I poster about a month ago about an unknown hitchhiker. I was told it was a gorilla crab. Well still can't catch it. I wonders behind the rockwork. All I see is hairy claws once and a while. It is about the size of a silver dollar. Any timps on how to catch it. I don;t have a sump, so I guess I would have to just crush it????

I almost had it but thie minute I get with in 3 feet it darts back to the rock work.

ive got one too. ive tried spearing him numerous time, but i cant get him.

my plan is to get a glass jar, put some bait in it (raw shrimp/ scallop). lean the jar up against a rock and hope he goes for the bait.

once he climbs inside, he wont be able to climb up the glass sides to get back out.

that is the way I caught all of my unwanted critters and then my serpants took care of the rest......
