I finally got one! I would post this in the feather duster show off thread but I can't find it. Only $50 for such a beautiful creature

The other sun coral and Fire shrimp is what I also got.

OK, so its been happy so far, but I want to know what I can feed it. I think a shipment of Zooplankton, phyto and chromoplankton, marine snow, and something else are coming in today, would those be good? If I run out could I use frozen baby brine?

Thanks

if i'm not mistaken you posted a few weeks ago about wanting to get a coco. good to see you decided to get one.

as far as feeding, phyto in the tank should be fine. some people try to use a turkey baster underneath the coco.

Yup, I was the one who was asking about whether a coco or a normal feather duster was better, but I think coco's are much better.

So will kent marine phyto plex be good? I think I tried some of that, but I didn't see any reaction of the worm.

thats what i use. some people don't add anything extra cocos are filter feeders and will pretty much eat anything it can. you probably won't see any reaction from feeding however from time to time you will see its feathers curl up usually before pulling them in.

there was a thread in here i believe it was titled show of your feather dusters. you can probably go back a few days and find it those are really good pics it would be good to see them in there.

also i really like the sun coral you got i've been wanting to try some.

Thanks, that sun coral is awesome! I think its still adjusting, but some of it is opening up alot and letting me feed it.

This was from last night, it still looks a little corny and isn't fully opening, yet, its getting there. But I would suggest getting a small colony, maybe 30 heads maximum, because I have maybe 50 or so heads, and its really hard to feed them all because I don't feed mysid, just O.N food.
