Lol I have heard that before. Just need a 1.5" bulkhead for my drain and a 15"x20"x1/4" piece of black acrylic.

Started the plumbing today. Two 1" returns with the penductors on them and a 1.5" drain. Still need a return pump and also need to build the overflow.

Looking good! I'm hopefully heading over this wkend to look at a new (used) tank, thank you for that info btw! What are you planning for a return pump? What GPH? I know you've had larger tanks before so I figure you have more experience. I'm just interested to see what volume I should be running when I get a bigger tank (90g-120ish). I bought two 1.5" bulkheads I was planning to use as drains, I plan to do a coast to coast overflow on the left side of the tank. I was only planning 1 return, but I might need to do 2? I have a Mag7 on my 40b, and plan to use that as a return for a little while, but will probably upgrade at some point.

Well here's the sump. Got a old 30 gal bio ball sump and modified it. Had fun with the dremel on this one. I got a G3 from Bucsfan and now just need a return pump and some plumbing to finish it off to get water in it.

Well I started to add water. Still need the return pump so I can only fill it up to the returns lol.

It has begun to cycle. The saltwater was added yesterday. Now the waiting game has started. Please wish me luck with patience. LOL
