Got Skimmer , Need Sump

I just ordered a Deltec ap851 skimmer for a 180 tank, and now i need a sump , prefreably with a refugium ,and a place for the deltec inside the sump..Where is a good place to buy one.?

i got mine from ebay, it works great, and has plenty of room for mods or custom jobs. usa aquarium i think.

The Deltec AP851 can be run outside the sump, which I recommend...you'd need a BIG sump to fit that monster.

The Trigger Systems sumps at Premium Aquatics look pretty nice. The have berlin, refugium, and combo.

just pick up a basic 40 or 60 gallon tank from any pet store.

There is no reason to try and squeeze that big of a skimmer in a sump if it can be run externally.

well you could buy premade but i think if you make your own you will be happier and it will be easier. judging by the skimmer you bought price really isnt a problem but who doesnt like to save money? anyway i agree just pick up a tank at a lfs and silicon in some baffles i bet a lfs would even do it for you for a cost of course but i think you would be happier if you did that

Check your local acyril shop and have them assemble one for you. I had a 80 gallon sump made to my specs for about $200

I bought a pair of FDA approved food containers from my local restaurant supply store. $40/ea and they hold 30g ea. Very sturdy, not like the Rubbermaid totes. I had one set a little higher than the other and overflow into it.
