Got Stomatopod?

Man, my peacock is so smart it's kinda freaky. It's a trip watching her explore the tank. She actually "peeks" around corners and peers into nooks and crannies rather than just blindly walking around. And when I looked down into the tank at her she looked up at me, reared up, and flicked her smashers at me. She was acting kinda bitc*ie last night, so I'm thinking of naming her after my wife.
I would have taken a picture of her this morning, but she's still rearranging the "furniture" in her new home.
I am more than pleased, she's beautiful, feisty, and very active thus far.

LOL!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!

You can get crayfish and other live bait at the fishing/bait store on X street (down the street from Capital Aquarium), I believe the cross street near about 25th?

Thanks BodiBuilt! Not sure what happened, I had fish and corals in there the day before without any problems for several days. May be just stressed. I would love to have cuddles.

LMAO shiveley! :lmao:

Nuuze,

I emailed Billy and asked what we could do to get another Peacock, did you want that. have it delivered to your house this time?

I'm hoping that the mantis will be free and you will only have to pay shipping, let me know

Maybe Thomas will add something here also

Unless BodiBuilt wants to keep cuddles, I can take that one so he doesn't have to have/hold an extra.

mike,

If you want i have a chiragra you can have also and i can take cuddles. This one i have is a little bigger and i thought had better color than cuddles

saw this pic today, hmm, not sure i'm ready to try that just yet...

I added a couple small Yellow Tail Blue Damsel's to the tank with my P. ciliata  She came out from under her rock palace almost instantly and posed in her hunting mode stance... The two damsel's were freaked! They were hiding nearly out of site within the cluster of rock way out of reach of the would be predator... I watched for nearly 20 min. before I vowed she would probably have great difficulty catching one. I came back about 5min later to check on them and could only see one damsel and the ciliata was nowhere in view...
I MISSED IT! Sure enough with the aid of a small light I was able to see her under her rock nibbeling away at her catch!
This is a shot of her minutes before catching her meal...sorry for the blurry pic (I need more practice~lol)

ok so manty is awesome. She took the huge pile of rocks i had layed out for her and closed off the rear entrance,

and redesigned her front door

I also fed her some krill today and she gladly took it.
