I got my son a digital camera for Christmas. I have an SLR and he has been begging me to start to learn how to shoot photos. So I figured start with a point and shoot. I bought him a Sony H3 on EBay. I used to have an H1 and took pretty good shots. It's just hard learning how to use one again after using an SLR with all the settings. I still can't nail the true color of the corals with this cam as the colors seem to be washed out a bit vs my Nikon....A little more playing should do it. I think I over sharpened them but I was hurrying.
Any rate, here are some random photos shot with the sony but at the bottom you have to see the "non" tank related photo. It's crazy.
Now here is the crazy photo I mentioned. So this morning my wife decided to give our two dogs their gifts. New bones for each of them. One is a jack Russell and the other is a boxer. I was showing my son his camera and how to focus while pushing down on the shutter button and when I tested a shot I got this photo...................
As I snapped the random photo (mind you I was not aiming the camera just holding it in my hands and looking at my son) when all of a sudden my boxer pushes off the back of the couch and launches about 8 feet across the room at the jack's bone. She was able to clear about 8 gifts right in front of us and land almost on top of the jack's bone....... It was the funniest thing I have ever seen and to get the shot was priceless.
