Gotta love tax time

So the wife decided she likes me enough to let me get some new toys, so like everyone other guy who's wife says that I burnt the keys off the computer ordering before she could change her mind. I looked at several calcium reactors but I wanted to go with something easy to use and well trusted within the reefing community.....I needed up with an MRC Duel Nano Reactor with the optional PH probe holder.

with these gauges....

I think it will be an ok pair.....hopfully the coral growth helps pay for them. Later Jason

You lucky dog you. I know I love tax time thats the only reason my girl let me get my MH.:D Awsome buy Glaspie.

I have an MRC also and like it a lot. Andy is a great guy and will be there if you have any questions or need any parts. Good Buy!

Well I decided to go with Bob's suggestion, he said they were good units that were easy to use while still being effcient. I have to give it to the aquacave guys though.....I purchased at like 7 tonight and the sent me a shipping invoice at 8:30.....thats customer service

Yeah I love tax time. trip to rockford, new protein skimmer, new lights(2x250watt MH and set of 2 VHO's), and a new Canopy(thank you for building this for us Jason). Man I love tax time. :D

If you have any extra loot, the group buy for the ACIII is still available. A good time to get in on an awesome deal!

I probably won't be ordering that for another month or so......I want to order it with everything I need and the fundage won't allow for that right now.....I'm starting with a few "small" peices to the puzzle....2 new tanks, skimmer, reactor.....then the ac3 .....hopfully I can get something to grow semi-quickly

That's cool, just do what you feel is best for your tanks.

Ryan, I'll send you a pm with the link. :D

LOL it sucks that I'll have a brand new ca reactor and a set of gauges that I won't be able to use for a month or more.

Oh yeah, don't forget the media! :) What kind of media does it use and how much can the reactors hold?

just the controller......but it's pointless to buy one for a month of use, I've got 2 tanks that are about half full sitting in my basement

Yeah, it is. That's a bummer. If I get my ACIII soon, I'd let you borrow my Milwaukee SMS122 controller that I'm currently using.

The Korallin media is pretty nice. It should be just as good as the Schuran or Gen-X media since they appear to be the same. I liked it when I ran it in the Schuran. It's not dusty and dissolves nicely. Plus it's more forgiving and won't turn to mush if you accidentally drop the pH too low in the reactor.

You know there hasn't been one person that has seen that coral that hasn't liked it......I might feel guilt if I don't give you a peice
