Gotta love the clowns

I just fed the tanks some flakes and got to watch one of my black perculas grab ahuge flake and feed it directly to an awaiting acan mouth. It thne grabbed another flake and proceeded to feed a different acan. I know some argue that clowns don't intentionally feed their hosts, but I've seen them feed anemones and acans now (they are in the acan tank so no anemones). I just thought that was exciting:).

Dang I can't wait for my tank to get up and running so I can witness this agian. My two tomatos would do this with a frogspawn and a BTA.

I think it was danieljames who posted a video awhile back of his clowns feeding their anemone. It was pretty cool...

Wow... thats really neat, Gary!

In the same vein as what Steve said, you should try to capture it on video if your clowns make it a habit. :)

I don't have a video, but I've seen my clowns put food in an anemone before... and it certainly looked pretty darn intentional (e.g., recatching the same piece of food and putting it back in if it got blown out by the current).

Quite often I think human "experts" don't give animals enough credit... and this MAY be a case of that.
