Here is my issue... 300g
I own a 96x24x30
My return (to the tank) is a 1" bulkhead
My intake (to the sump) is 1 1/2"
My goal is to keep SPS and from what I am reading I need a 15-20 turn over so approx 4500-6000gph
What do I need to do to accomplish my goal?
I was looking at the quietOne 14000 (3600 gph) then supplementing other power heads...is that too much strain on my 1" bulkheads and 1 1/2" return pipe?
Can I leave the bulkhead the same size and just expand the return pipe to a 2"?
Do I need to do anything at all ?
how would you do it?
Note: my tank has a sealed top outside of the 3 openings on the top....
