My main tank is being over run with grape caulerpa....HELP... I cant keep up with it. Evidently it migrated from my sump and is growing so fast that I have to pinch & pull it from the rocks weekly to keep it under control. I totally dislike chemical controls, but at this point, Ill do ANYTHING......all suggestions will be greatly appreciated..
Hope this is the best forum to be posting in..

grape caulerpa is the worst! I had some of that stuff, put it in a QT tank for WEEKS with no light no fish, and it still survived just from indirect room lighting for a couple hours a day. Don't tangs eat it?

Just start ripping it out, every day, as much as you can. That will at least control it a bit, try to get as much of the "stalk" as you can, meaning get as much of the root out of the rock as you can. That is what I would do.

It was taking over my 29g until I added a small foxface. The foxface devoured it and there has been no signs of it since. I just wish he would go after GHA the same way :)

Yes a foxface would be a great way to help your problem! I would suggest picking one up!

Manual removal + foxface will help tremendously. Good luck!
