Great aquariums to visit

So I dont know where to start this thread but I was curious of what are some great aquariums to visit in eastern USA?

I'm think about taking a trip to Baltimore to take the kids to that aquarium. We went to one bye outer banks but it wasnt all that amazing to us.

Where exactly do you live? The Baltimore aquarium my wife says is a fantastic aquarium to visit.

Georgia Aquarium is the best! Well worth the trip south.

We live in Ohio. Cleveland has an aquarium that I actually havent been to yet... I've heard it isnt all the great, so we haven't gone yet.

I would make the trip south, worth the little extra time in the car if you are driving. Georgia is the best aquarium around. The Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, TN is also good. The Ripley's aquarium I heard is good as well but have not personally been.

i live in boston and the new england aquarium is pretty good. I want to go to Georgia though

At the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, N.J., visitors have to walk through the shark tunnel — the only place to see great hammerhead sharks on display in the U.S

I was very impressed with my visits to the Baltimore Aquarium and the Shedd Aquarium (Chicago), although both these visits were quite some time ago.

We visited the Cleveland Aquarium 3 weeks ago - it was just OK...

Baltimore is excellent, Shedd is fantastic as well.

Newport aquarium in Newport Kentucky is decent.

i still haven't made it to the Georgie Aquarium or the Aquarium of the Smokies, but they look awesome and are both on my list.

still east, but a lot further south, the Florida Aquarium in Tampa and Mote Marine down near Sarasota/Bradenton are some of my favorites to visit. bonus, if you're at Mote, you're real close to the Selby Botanical Gardens as well, which is absolutely worth a visit.

i live in Pittsburgh, our local zoo/aquarium is alright, but not worth a special trip IMO.
