I just wanted to say thanks to 8Ball for hosting a great meeting today. The man is truly a maniac when it comes to tank plumbing & gadgetry. Awesome tanks! Great food! Thanks to all who contributed.
Thanks also to Bob the banned for a pretty awesome demo of sump plumbing and one crazy overflow. And thanks to Tomoko for bringing the sack of calcium hydroxide -- there's something about messing with that stuff that reminds me of the fights we used to have with chalkboard erasers back in elementary school.
Anyway, it was great to see both the old faces and the new ones.

Yes, that was a great meeting. It was the first formal meeting I have been to and if they are al like this one, this is going to be great. Although there is a lot to live up to when it comes to 8Ball's aquafied house.

Mariner - Thank you for the Xenia, I'm trying to get it to grab hold of a rock now, but it sure is nice and big!

I had a great time at the meeting and it was nice to meet all of you. I too would like to thank 8Ball and his wife for having us over to visit their beautiful home and awesome aquarium room. That is a super nice setup top to bottom. Also thank you Harry, HardRock, and Buzz for the frags, and thanks to John for opening his shop, I was able to pick up a fish and view alot of nice tanks. Tomoko the Calcium Hydroxide was a super deal thank you for sharing. BeasleBob that sump demo was pretty cool, you truly are a mad scientist at work.

We went to see Johnny's too and I am so happy!!! I finally got a NEW SKIMMER!!!! It is working GREAT !!!!! I had to hang it out side my sump but it is working soooo good. I can't believe the difference. I feel like it was Christmas early

We enjoyed having everyone and meeting some new folks. Maybe by the next one I'll have everthing done and the tanks will look like they use to!.. All the food everyone brought in was great!

It really was a great meeting It's good to see the old and the new faces. I am finally putting the names and faces together, but I can really use the photo ID on our NARC web sight.

Thanx Will & Shannon for sharing your house for the meeting. The tank rooms (viewing and equipment) are fabulous! We enjoyed seeing the "regulars" and meeting some new people. We enjoyed all the food too.

Anybody with any surplus PVC pipe or fittings can donate it to Bob for a unique work of art!

Will and Shannon, Thank you for a wonderful Saturday afternoon. The tanks are just awsome. Will, you really did a fine job on the whole system especially the automatic hoods (whooooooo). It was good to see everyone and meet some interesting new folks, too. Shannon, thank you for allowing me to meet Smoky and Bandit and the little jenny as well. We went to Johnny's shop after the meeting and Harry purchased a four-line wrasse. He's a beautiful little fish and happily swimming around the tank. Hope to see everyone soon.
(In case someone doesn't recognize my name, Harry likes to refer to me as his landlady.)
