i know of many people that have kept both croceas and maximas under pc lighting- myself included, and as little as 70w of pc at that. given, MH would be better and the clams in the pc tanks were in nanos so usually less than 10" from the light. i would definitely say the clam would be able to live for at least several months with that kind of light, provided that everything else in the tank is conducive to clams well-being.
