Help!!!!
I started my biocube 29 three weeks ago with 20lbs. live sand and 30lbs LR. Didn't really have a cycle. Little to no ammonia or nitrites, temp 78, salinity 1.024, PH 8.2. I went through my brown algae bloom, got my clean-up crew and have a two clowns, bubletip anemone, lawnmower blenny and a few shrimp. Everything was good but now I'm getting a significant ammount of green algae. It's seems heavier near the top of the tank and on the sides of the glass near the sand. After I set it up I realized that it is in about an hour of sunlight in the AM and about 2 hrs in the evening. I don't have any red, slime or hair algae just plain green stuff. I want to put some soft corals in but am concerned I may have to move the tank and want to do it before it is too established. Any suggestions???
