Green Birds Nest

Do these corals usually adjust pretty good to flow? Just picked up an MP10 and it is kind of in direct flow from it. Usually it is fat looking from good PE but now not so much now. It still has good PE, just not what I am used to.

I was going to give it the weekend to adjust before possibly rescaping or moving it but reassurance would be great too. Thanks.

Gentle flow for my GBN.

Yeah, they don't really like to get blasted.

Seriatopora and other birds nest have longer polyps that can really reach out and grab their food. I've had the best polyp extension and growth when they are in an undertow type of flow. If it is possible, you could place it under or to the side of the MP10

Mine is appx. 1 ft from an mp40 on reefcrest at 90%. Its not directly in front of it but still gets a huge amount of flow. When I first got the mp40, it was pretty retracted even at only 60% within about a week it was used to the flow and since, Ive slowly ramped up the speed. New growth is all "growing" with the flow. I think they just need a little time to adjust.
