So I woke at 5am this morning to realize when I changed the water on Sunday I failed to replace the mesh cover for the powerhead. I had removed it to give it a good cleaning. And ofcourse my BTA took the opportunity to go for a swim. Water was completely clouded and shredded pieces being blown everywhere. Thankfully I had enough RO water ready to go...Rushing around with the normal morning hustle I managed to get a 50% water change done, added Prime, changed filter sock, cleaned skimmer, cleaned powerhead, and added two extra bags of chemi pure elite. Left the RO on to make more water...Got home and still a little cloudy...Just finished another 50% water change, added prime, changed filter sock, and cleaned skimmer again.....So far all the livestock seems ok except my hammer and acan are little closed up, fish seem understandably a little stressed but not too bad....Fingers crossed!!!! Making more water now to do another water change tomorrow....will test parameters before going to bed and again in the morning.....uggghhh what a royal screw up!!! Am I taking the appropriate actions???

That sucks I can relate to that, I did a 50% water change and started running brs r0X carbon in a media bag and I actually had no problems with water quality, sad day for sure though
Nemmy noted on the skimmer, lesson learned!! My skimmer is acting up no doubt to me cleaning it again!!! Ughhh..... Lost one chromi this morning, otherwise everything else seems to be doing good, chromi school was new to the tank the same day before nem shredded so I think maybe not the nem....water is cleared up.... Changed my filter sock again, no water change today but will probably do another tomorrow just to be safe..... Parameters are good today..... But my clowns def miss their nem!!!
