Green Carpet anemone Died.. Clean Tank?

Over the past two days I lost 3 fish
& now My green carpet passed away

I tested my water and all the levels are normal.
I am wondering if the anemone has been releasing toxins into the water??

Could that be why the fish were dying...

is there some tests I can do on the water?

should i take it all down and clean it?

This was a FO tank except for the carpet anemone

So the carpet died first or the fish? Regardless, you need to do a waterchange and run carbon on the tank when an anemone has been dead in the tank. How long has the anemone been dead in the tank? How bad does it look?

well i think he has been on his way out for 2 days or so now... My Anemoney detached himself from a rock and ended up on being blown onto my heater on saturday... I removed the heater and it looks like there is some of the back side of him on the heater so I don't know if he got burned or what...

when I came home from work today his insides were totally out of his mouth...

so you think if i just run carbon on the tank it should be ok?

is there a way to tell if water is safe for fish again since all the parameters look normal?
or should I get some cheap damsels or something to use as my test

I am thinking it was the silicone in the sump that might have killed him...
I used GE 1 which i thought was right

GE #1 is fine...it wasn't the silicone bud. There's a boatload of hobbyists that have used that same product for yrs.

If you had itch or something, now's a good time to go fishless for 6 weeks to clear the tank of it for good.

let's say i used the wrong silicone and that is what caused the problems...
should I tank the tank down and clean it or over time will it clean up with the carbon
