Well this is day 7 was deflated this morning but back to normal now even eat a piece of salmon

Sweet looking green gig man :dance: Mine hit their 7 day mark today as well!!sounds like yours has the same, shrink at night and inflate during the day which is normal.

What do you mean by deflated? Losing some size at night is normal, deflating itself at any point in the day is not.

Yep just at night. But not every night

Yep. Last sunday. Best day to go u get them right when they come in. Steve is a good guy to deal with to

I agree! I got my purple Haddoni from him. He has good connections and can usually get anything you want. Like you said, it's all about timing.

Is the green gig still in the same place or has it started to climb higher in your tank?

Still in the same spot so far. Funny thing i did notice it being a gig till u said something.

Did he deflate quite a bit? If he did, you are in for trouble. They do get smaller at night but I would not call it deflate. About 10-15% smaller at night but very much fully inflate with full tentacles, not deflated by any mean. Don't feed him until he is fully healthy. Feeding him just cause problem when he is not healthy. He may eat it but regurgitate it later after it foul up his inside.

Why not just start one thread, instead of one thread a day?

Kind of strange first lights t5s come on at 8 2 hours later 250 watt halides come on 15 k. After like 3 hours it shrinks down some Could itbe the spectrum of lights it is not liking ?

Just shrinks down mouth not exposed but not tightly closed either still gets just as big as when i first got it this is day 10 i think i will keep watching if stays like this ill get qt going have cipro here already to go. But dont want to jump the gun

Maybe its just me but the outer edge of the oral disc comes very close to the mouth near the bottom area..kinda makes a sharp upside down V ( ^ ). Could be just the angle, have you noticed any scar tissue or appear to be propegated?
