Green Cloves?

Just wondering who has them and what kind of growth rates have you experienced with them? I bought a frag and they are under two 250 halides, 20 k. Thanks!

Well, I guess I'll answer my own question. Its been ten days, and I have already had six polyps branch off from the frag. So they grow fast!

I have the ones that are frilly with green centers and starburst of flo orange. They had 15 polyps the first week and 21 the second. It seems like they take 3 days to produce a polyp from spot to nub to head. Seem to like to grow up something too, so if you start them at the bottom of a rock they will book up it faster than across it.

I would like to if I could keep cloves under 54wt in my 20 long.

I dont have pics- I can find some on the net- but is it cool to post them? I am keeping mine ofn the bottom of a ap12 with 2x28 pc lighting.

Does no one else keep these? Or are they really rare? I know they wont be for long- I think they are super cool- and they seem to prop like xenia. Watch the price go to 10 bucks a start real soon is my prediction!

I have some and really enjoy the color. mine grows very fast also under PC. The fish store near my house pays pretty good for frags.
