green clown goby missing :(

i dont remember seeing my green clown goby yesterday, and spent all day today looking at my aquarium and cant find him, or at the very least a corpse :sad2:, do these kinds of gobies burrow and/or hide for periods of time? he always comes out the second the food hits the water, i fed twice today with no luck either, im a sad panda

I think the greens are more secretive and "hidey" (if thats a word) so hopefully it will come out today.

they like to hide a lot. they're hard to spot.

They can get deep within the rockwork and be almost impossible to find. I used to have a yellow watchman goby that would disappear for days. On a sadder note these fish also tend to find their way into the rockwork to go and die so it could already be gone. All you can do is keep an eye out. Likely he'll show back up before you know it.

he usually hangs out in the same area during the day, pretty active fish, comes out when i feed, and when the lights go out he religously sleeps/hides under my red mushrooms, unfortunatly i havent seen him going on 4 days, which leads me to believe he has passed , i never thought i would get attached to a fish but dam i miss that little guy

any update? i bought one on saturday and for some reason the poor little fella didnt make it!

hes gone for sure , he ran around the store for months, and i had him for at least 6months so he could of been an old fish, unfortunalty i never even found a body so i have no idea what killed him other than age, i can only hope my emerald crab isnt the culprit *shakes fist*, i will eventually replace him with another green clown goby, possibly an orange spotted goby if i can find one, he will be missed
