Green Fuzzy Stuff

Anybody have any idea what this stuff is? It appears like a green fuzzy matt. It has been on my rock for some time and is slowly getting larger.

I was thinking encrusting gorgonian... but the hairs aren't real long on them... those are some wild colors in it though.

i have somthing very similar it was small about an inch and in the last two months has put on about two inches i believe even more.. i also believe it to be some type of encrusting stony coral.. some days it will look like a fuzzy mat that will move with the current other days it doesnt.. but i also noticed it eating small mysis pieces and cyclopeeze when it landed on it.. it almost seemed to absorb the food..
