Green Mushroom

I purchased a Green Mushroom coral today and in transportation one of them fell off in the bag..
My question is. I attached it to a different rock with a rubber band. Is this the correct method, if so
how long will it take to attach itself to the rock? Thank you.

that should work, if the rock is porous, you can also use toothpicks.

using tooth picks, it usually takes my mushrooms about 4-7d to attach.
