green polyp what???

this came in on a purple digi frag i am trying to nurse back to health. any ideas what it is?

the green, it looks like it is about to start branching.
what is it?

The green montipora sp. or the green algae? it will be hard to tell a species at that size. I'd guess it's a digi but it needs a good 3-4 months to tell. Fwiw you might want to look into a phosphate media filter. Your corals and aquarium will thank you.

thanks guys for the replies. i guess i need to wait for some growth..my phosphates read .5. i am also bacteria/carbon dosing but have yet to see a drop in nit/phos. should i still invest in some phos media?
