Green vs Orange Peacocks??

Am I being duped by my lfs? They are telling me over the phone that they have several mantis in stock. I'm going to check them out tonight but I'm confused.

He says he has several "baby peacocks" that are 2 inches that are $x. Then, 2 "adult green peacocks" which are $30 MORE than x. THEN, he says he has 2 "orange adult peacocks" wich are $45 more than x.

Are there really more greenish and more orange-ish peacocks? Or are they selling different shrimp labelled as "peacocks" for a few bucks cheaper than the ACTUAL peacock shrimp?

I know you would have to SEE them to specifically ID what they are. But, I thought someone may be able to give me a general answer, since I'm a mantis newbie. Don't know if this could be legit.

Thanks.

Take a look at Roy's List pinned to the top of this Forum. If you look at O. scyllarus, you will see a small animal looking at you that is rather "orange". Adult large males are nearly always green. Large females are olive to brown. Small immature animals can be yellow to orange. However, these colors refer only to the general color of the body. They will all still have the species typical colors including the spot pattern on the carapace, red dactyls, antennal scales with a green front and orange back with red setae, irridescent blue uropods with red setae, etc. If they don't, they are not O. scyllarus.
