Anyone know anything about theTigrigobius Multifasciatus that divers den has been getting from time to time. Do they get along with other substrate bound fish like cleaner gobies, plectranthias perchlets, and dragonets.

Do you know if they have short life spans like the Trimma gobies or do they have "normal" life spans whatever that means.

I don't know the answer to that question.

It appears this fish is often sold as a small size. The one I got and aclimated last night was really, really small. I seen him hanging out on the sand this morning and appears to be doing fine. He's now hiding under a rock. I'm going to put some sinking pellets by his rock to see if he will eat.[emoji2]

Mine are 2 years old now, so they live at least that long. Most small fish don't have the long lifespan as larger fish. How long...I have no idea, but I would guess a few years at best. They will be fine with just about any fish that wont swallow them. They will eat just about any food, so feeding is not a problem as long as it small enough and gets down off the surface. Great pod hunters as well.

I think I'll give them a go next time I see one offered. I've got a real peaceful soft coral tank they should fit in. I'm wondering how shy they are.

This is day two in my tank, and I noticed him this morning hunting pods on the back wall. Let's see how it goes over the next month. The one I got is about 1", tiny guy. My Yasha Goby is about 2" [emoji2]

Check out the Hector's goby. I just got one and it's a great fish, very peaceful and likes to hang around other fish in the tank

I have 20 green-banded gobies in a high-flow 150g tank. They are doing great. There is a vendor on an online auction website (it'll be your first guess) who sells 5 for $15. Check the website every month or so.

I can generally see about 3-4 of the gobies at any given time, which is why I got so many of them. They get along well with "personatus" gobies and lots of other tiny fish I keep in the tank. (Including blue-stripe pipefishe, yellow-lined clingfish, sailfin blennies, pygmy wrasses, etc.)

Caribbean_fish_collectors on eb@y. It looks like their most recent sale of green banded goby lots was on May 18. Contact them and ask when they'll have more.

I was pretty pleased with the fish I got - they're all happy, breeding and occasionally bickering, but they're all alive.
