Very nice shot.
would try to repeat it with flash on and a faster shutter speed to get the backside exposed correctly as well.

It's a weird piece. Half has no color from facing away from the light I guess.

I don't think that is going to help really? Do you mean the backside of the coral or the background? IMO the image looks fine as is...

Hehe it's a new frag I just got, It's in my QT.
I'm positive in the tank it came from the guy had this colony in the far corner next to his overflow.
