Did you try mounting the lights at different heights? I have a similar sized tank, and am investigating LED lights for it. I initially purchased 5 par38 LED bulbs to play with, but need to have them mounted a 1/2" above the surface to eliminate the blue/yellow "disco ball" effect. Needless to say, the par38 idea won't work. It looks like I have the same amount of room in my canopy as you do.

Awesome system!

My rabbitfish do not bother any corals..I have had foxface that have in the past..This particular type seem to be fine..I have them in many of my customers systems wih the same result.

I had no need to try the modules at other heights.I new that in order to get full coverage they would have to be all the way at the top.I have installed them in several of my clients systems and after seeing the coverage from different heights I pretty much new were they needed to be in my canopy.

The screen for the chiller box(soon to be storage box) is a wood grille that I purchased from Signature Harware.com.It came unfinished and I stained and sealed it myself.

Well its been almost two weeks with the LEDS installed.Pretty much all the coral have adjusted to the new lighting. The light settings now are white45%-blue70%-royal75%..Here are a few new pics I took tonight.
