Is anyone interested in a group buy/order of Critters from Key's Critters?

I'd be more than happy to coordinate the ordering, payment and receiving. Obviously you'd need to be available to pickup the same day as receipt, which I think is Thursdays.

Okay, so orders have to be put in by Sundays for a Wednesday shipment to recieve on Thursday. That puts today out of the question as an order date.

Question, do you want to order next weekend, or wait until we can get a "large order" together? If we get to $500 then we get a discount, otherwise the benefit is just shared shipping costs. IF you want more or less than the normal quantities, just let me know. We can figure out how to rebag critters if we need to to get you what you need

Here is what I have so far (pricing excluding shared shipping):

TeeLapia - (25) Blueleg Hermits - $10
Xia - (25) Cerith Snails - $10

BTW, I know I'm not a MARS member but that's just because I haven't had a chance to make it to a meeting and join. See you all at the next meeting.

FYI, Mike B. and I went in on a Key's Critters buy and the death rate was around 50% on all crabs The snails were ok with a much smaller rate of death. I paid for 10 emeralds and had 3 survivors. Just thought I would share.

I never understand why people dont use www.reeftopia.com

I have done several orders with them always good service and product and there prices re top notch in my opinion

Well, I'm not partial to any particular vendor for critter orders. I heard good things about Keys from Melev (reefcast.com), but if you guys have had better luck from someone else, then by all means we can use them. I just figured anytime you have overnight shipping involved if we split the shipping a few ways it makes it less expensive.

So, I'm up for suggestion before we get the order off.

I like Reeftopia, but what's up with Reeftopia's $10 fuel fee? I can't wait till the day when Home Depot charges a $3 lighting fee. Sorry - but those type of business practices annoys me.
