Everything was bagged with quantities except for the Astreas. When I got there, the Astreas got bagged as I counted. I got everything I ordered. The extra 2 minutes it took to get the Astreas bagged only gave me that much more time to admire the tanks in the house.

I will go in again. I see no reason to pay $2 per snail from LFS when we can group order. I am setting up a 54 corner will need some crabs and snails.

I always hear everyone talk crap about the obsellata's. I have over 200 in my tank for almost a year now. Not one has died. They come to life whenever I put food in the tank and at night. I have proof they work.

Viking is right unless you don't like the darker color, don't let the cold water part scare you they do great in warm water.

My nassarius snails are a big PITA they steal food from any of my corals they can reach in time before its consumed LOL
Im always grabbing them with the tongs and tossing them to the other side of the tank

Lol that is funny Doug. I have not "seen" that. Do you have the whitish Vibex ones?

I just worry about them dying off when the temps get too high. I got a S*&^ load of them off ebay for .02 + shipping. Some are still alive.

My temps have gotten to 84 and I have not seen any empty shells yet. Maybe we got them from different parts of the coast and I got lucky.

From what I can tell, everyone else got the exact number they ordered. Did you get all 200?

yeah got all 200, they are little guys, a bunch of them hid and we ended up finding most of them a couple days later

Man, after a few days of doing nothing, these snail are going to town on my tank! Its slowly taking care of my algae problem that I have been battling here recently.

Well, it's been over a week, and no losses yet. The little guys are cleaning like crazy. The difference is noticeable.

Well it looks like I missed this, but if anyone has too many snails or hermits and would like to sell I'd def. be interested. Or also if there is another buy that's going to happen...

As small as these ceriths and hermits were, I don't think anyone felt they got too many. If anyone does organize another order, I may tag along. Organizing bulk buys, determining each person's cost, and collecting the money is work. On the positive side, we all got one heck of a deal, and they're cleaning up a storm.
