Group Buys

Maybe it would be good for the club to have a set day of the month for group buys. Do something like the 15th of every other month as a group buy day, that way no one is caught off guard with fast orders like the last one. We could all recommend a site of that month, do a vote, and then once that has been determined, we have someone be the point man to contact them and work out the ordering process.

After a while, we would have a Point of Contact(POC) person for each site we like, and already have an established process. Then a sticky could be made that talks about the sites we have purchased from, and who our POC person is.

We really should keep a little database of all these group buys with a link to their site, and reviews of what we got so far from them.

I have already done a very small group buy and I was happy with what I got as was one other person that was apart of the order, but I don't know how the last person felt about what they got, and if we kept that info, it would only help improve our experience with group orders and the quality of the items we order.

or just bump it until the group buy is complete.
