group order on TDS meters

I bought a dual inline tds meter for my ro/di off ebay over a month ago. It wouldnt calibrate so that both sensors would read the same even though I hooked them both to the same outgoing ro/di line. The guy went the extra mile and sent me some calibration fluid with my new meter. I havent hooked it up yet but just wanted to let everyone know that I have some 800ppm solution. I think the better thing for us to calibrate to is something about 10ppm though, but it was free...
Since Mel has access to the stuff to make a 10ppm I'll do some research and maybe we can have a high/lo calibration station at the next meeting.

Hey Don, I can make the calibration solutions for us. It should be easy.
I don't think we need to worry about the high range calibration though because if we are using water that is 800ppm then we have bigger problems than calibration of our TDS meters, ya know?
I could try to make like 5, 10, 20 ppm NaCl or something like that.

Mel, can you have this for next month's meeting? That way, everyone who got in on the group buy can calibrate theirs ~ since we already know there was some differences between some of them that were dipped in your bucket during the mtg at your house. Anyone else who has one could also bring theirs. All should clean their meter as best as possible to keep the solution accurate.
