here are a few shots of some of my corals and the growth ive seen.this pic was taken Oct. 1 and is one ricordia(all my rics seem to be splitting like crazy)

this was taken today(4 going on 5)

this was taken Nov. 5 and you can see where it is white with no polyps

today notice the lack of white dead spots

these are my first attempts at sps corals and couldnt be any happier with the growth

it seems to be healthy,but i do have some cyno
i am just gonna do lots of water changes and use phosphate remover for now to try and contain the bloom.i really hate to treat the tank with some chemical and would rather try this first.other than the cyno the tank seems to be doing well and everything is growing.

Use a filter sock on the phosphate reactor drain, or you will have fine particles from the reactor media in your tank. It will burn the corals.

That is some fast going Ricordea's - what do you feed them?

thats the funny thing,i dont.they have never taken anything ive tried to feed them.i dose daily with oceans blend parts1 and 2,and 5ml of phyto feast.i have tried to give them mysis and brine,but they just release it into the tank.
