Growths in Sump ??

Currently my sump has NO light. While cleaning I noticed what may be yellow "sponge"? that appeared out of nowhere and also a large white something growing along the back wall. See pic.

Good, bad? Should I do anything?

My tank seems to be doing well. Parameters good and my leather coral is ecstatic lately which is typically a good indicator for me. Only issues . . . vermetid snails that continue to multiply, a couple larger bristle worms that I can't seem to get and my 6 line wrasse recently just disappeared . . . .

Just sponge growth, nothing to worry about.

yep.. totally normal.. when it gets big enough you can tear it off and use it to wash your car..
