I used 2 little fishes epoxy/puddy to get rid of mine, however it was not covering as large of an area as yours, I just covered them up...no more GSP, they were starting to overrun my SPS corals, I was not in the position to remove my rock as there were encrusted corals that I wanted to keep attached to it.
