Hey there fellow reefers!
I got a small colony of green start polyps while my metal halide light and ballast was being replaced, it took about 2 or 3 weeks to get everything working again. In the mean time, I had some back up PC's over the tank and everything seemed to do fine. The start polyps were open and looked as happy as they did in the their former tank. Since the metal halide has been on them, the first day they all opened up except the polyps the highest up (the top 1/4 inch). Then after that, they have not been opening up at all. I think it may be the light so I got them farther from the light yesterday but today, they still are not opening up. Is something wrong with them or do I just need to give them time to adjust? Thank you in advance.
