GSP Overload...

I have probably 3 sq feet :spin2: of nice long / flowing green start polyps growing across the top back of my 90.

I reckon it is time to thin it down before it gets out of control.

Is there any demand for this stuff? If so, what is a fair price per sq inch unmounted? I could remove fresh and bring to the swap next month.

Yeah, but loose I could give a discount by the sq foot :)

Seriously, the cost of the rock, glue and hassle is more than I would charge for this stuff -

I would venture a guess from my past experience, that if you brought some frags to the swap in Jan, you could get $5-10 a square inch of them. just razor them off the glass gently and super glue to a rock. while sometimes considered a week, I have made a mint of them and Xenia.

Is Pickupman66 = Lindsay? Who used to have ~70gal tank on a very low stand?

If so - I originally bought a couple of sq in of GSP off you a couple of years ago :)

Yes. my name is Lindsey. if that came from my old tank, that is a very proilfic strand of neon green GSP. I might be interested in getting some from you (unmounted) so I can glue it to my back wall. lemme ponder it.

and Yes, any member can bring frags to the swap to sell. most of those that dont have a table have made pre-arranged sales. also, the club will have a table or two that we will use for members who dont have enough to sell to warrant a table.

Bill, what do you mean?:rolleye1::rolleye1::confused::confused::fun5::fun5:. I did once take a bunch of Mounted Xenia frags to AC and got about $150 credit off them babies! Heck for a someone just getting into reefkeeping, Xenia and GSP are a mandatory addition, and for $10 for a good bit of it, its a win-win situation!

Lindsey - it is defiantly the GSP from your old tank. I've never seen such with such long strands... lemme know if you want some back.

Pickupman66 - just looked at my tank and also still have the Elkhorn from your old 75. That stuff breaks if you look at it wrong...
