Guess Zoas can split

i have never had this happen with any of my zoas, so it is interesting to me, thought i might share and see if any other have experienced this.

I have two pink ones doing the same thing in my tank. I thought they got stung by my hammer because they have a line between them, but then I realized they msut have split. Nice pics btw.
 
Here is my Darth Mauls. It's been like this for awhile, so I was wondering if it would just stay like this.

I've got a PPE doing that as well. Unfortunately, it's not in a good spot for a pic at the moment, but I'll see what I can do later. Mine has also been that way for a little over a month.
 
Here's a PPE of mine that started to split.This small frag has since melted away...so I never got the chance to see if it would completely split.

Seems to be a pretty common occurrence amongst palys. I have both pinks and teals that do it all the time, although, I have never personally witnessed a true zoa splitting.

Technically speaking, every polyp pictured in this thread is a zoa not a palythoa ;)
 
That is cool. I have notice in several pics that have been posted that there are double mouths on the zoas.
