I went out in the gulf today, and with the help of adnup picked up approximately 80 gal. of pure Gulf water. I will be doing a water change this week with Gulf water . Good old NSW. I want to try this stuff, and see if it makes a difference. Thanks adnup, I could not have done it without you. Ted

How was the gumbo looking? Sorry wrong board for that question. Did you notice any brown seaweed in the water column, It reseambles hair algea only it grows two to four feet long on the bottom this time of year and the starts breaking off and floating.

That's pretty exciting Ted. You'll have to give us a report on how it's doing at our ANCHOR meeting. BTW, is that a new dog you got?

I'll keep everyone posted about the change over to NSW. No Diane, that was our Chocolate Lab. Rusty, we had to have her put down about two years ago. I still miss her,she was a real sweet heart. Ted

bugged, the algae bloom you are talking about I observed out of Anchlote 2 weekends ago.... lots of it up to about 3 miles out then no more, I was very impressed with the water clarity out there, it was so clear you could see the bottom at 30 feet.

Well I did a water change about an hour, and a half ago, with approximately 60 gal. of good old Gulf water. So far everything is looking good, fish, and corals. Super polyp extension, but it's only been about an hour, and a half . so far so good. Ted

When my tank was lps/softcoral dominated I would goto St. Augustine (marineland) and get NSW from a pipe that they have 3mi out in the Atlantic. I would always get great PE after a 30% WC. Now with the sps I donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t want to risk it but I am sure it will be fine I am just being cautious

NSW is great stuff
