Frags?

Frags?

We have lots of coral to add to new system from the old system. Just taking our time moving it. Don't want to have a freak cycle and kill a bunch of them. I've already shattered my big monti colony moving it. Looks like there will be several frags of it donated to the program. It's the green with light purple rim scrolling monti.

Frags, you say? Bring them to the April meeting and sell a few. SOunds like a nice specimen...

LL,

It's very nice and grows very fast. I bought a piece of it at the last frag swap and sale a year ago. Not even sure who sold it to me.

Here's a pic of it when we first brought it home. it was around 1" x 2" at that time.

Here's a top down view of half of it back in January. It's with the lights out and flash only. I went through all my pics and couldn't find a recent pic with good lighting.

This time I think I'm going to mount it much lower in the tank. Pretty sure I'll mount a frag of it on the back wall of the tank. That way it has plenty of room to grow and I will not be accidentally breaking pieces of it off all the time.

Little more of the aquascaping. Getting closer to getting it done. Also moved a few more corals into the display.

There's five there. If I remember right that first one is a blue moon chalice (oxypora). The next one is Miami Hurricane. Then Oregon Mummy Eye (camera is not getting the color right). Then the Titan chalice and Bubble Gum Monster (still playing with our camera to get the color correct). I don't have a favorite, I like them all. Should have a Red Planet Chalice coming soon. It's awsome, black base, with red highlights.

look'n good! I guess I'll have to make a trip out there soon. Besides I have frags to bring back for you.

I rearranged a little yesterday. I noticed all my orange zoo's were in the same location, same with my green zoo's. So I mixed them together a little.

You know where I live. Keep those frags coming. We like frags coming back to the program.

Finished the canopy. Happy to have it on the tank with all my light blasting into the tank.

All we lack now are doors and trim.

Last weeks COMAS meeting in Tulsa was awsome. In case I forgot to thank the people that put it all together, BIG THANK YOU! My wife and oldest daughter had great time too. And thanks for the great deals on these new additions.

Copper Band Butterfly. Amazing fish, eating aiptasia, brine, and mysis. So cool to watch it eat aiptasia, he's like an aiptasia vacuum.

Lastly, this beautiful chalice.
