Can this nem live in a tank with just live rock?I only ask because the clowns that are hosted by this nem currently have moved all the sand away from it's base and it appears to be attached to the live rock. Also what are the flow requirements for this nem?
Thanks, Daniel
H. Crispa is kinda funny, they will frequently attach to the rock only, but many have been reported to prefer having their foot buried. It depends on your specific anemone in your specific tank. And they like moderate flow.
I tried putting mines foot in the sand twice, it didn't like it and moved up on a rock near the sand and seems rather happy there. Suppose it just depends on the indiviual and the tank setup it happens to be in
