Iv tried searching through the older post but cant seem to find any info about these nems. If anyone has one or has had one or has any advice on how to care for them please share.

Thank you

They are relatively easy to care for. Sand bed anemone, care is very similar to Haddoni Carpet or H. crispa. Bright light clean, stable water and not a lot of current. Feeding helps, they eat anything from bits of sea food to flake food.
I keep my pair in a 30 g tank with 4 inches sand bed. They attach to the glass bottom of the tank right in the middle of the tank, under 150 W MH.

Thank you.

Is there a time limit that one should have for the anemone "to be in the clear". I know some anemones are harder to keep than others when first aquiring them just not sure if this is one of them.
The malu I have is aout 8-9 inches when fully open. It's attached to the bottom of my tank but when it opens it almost looks like a carpet anemone leaning on my rocks behind it. I think I might need to move some rocks around to give it more room.

I only bought two H. malu and still have two for the past 5 years. I find that they are fairly hardy if their basic requirement are meet. A picture would be great for ID purposes.
