H@rry's frags for the Chattanooga frag swap

In Memoriam
I have the following frags available for the Chattanooga frag swap. All pictures were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 880 and none have been retouched. Unless otherwise noted the frags are mounted to a small rock and in many cases they have begun to encrust the rock. I believe this insures a much better rate of success than fresh cut.
1. Green Montipora digitata ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ well encrusted to base ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ fast grower ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ 2 -3 inch - $10
Thanks for looking.

Harry, the frags are doing great so far. Thanks alot anyone looking for these corals should definately check them out.

Glad you like them Brian. You did pick out some colorful ones. We enjoyed having you come by.

I love my ORA Blue Tort...an absolutely awesome coral! I purchased mine from a LFS about 6 months ago.

What kind of growth rates are you seeing on this coral under the halides?

Thanks and God bless

I'd call the growth rate "moderate". While it's not a real fast grower, it seems very hardy and I've never seen that blue color in another acropora. The picture doesn't accurately portray the true color, it shows it as a purple. I really don't know a lot about my camera. Something about "white balance" I think. To tell the truth, I really don't care that much about taking pictures but sometimes I need to have pictures.

H@rry,

Did your blue tort come from 8Ball originally?
My ORA blue tort is deep deep blue - almost purplish. It also has bright green short polyps. It looks very different from 8Ball's which look much paler like yours. My blue tort came from the same batch that John got from ORA. 8Ball, Yoda, John and I got a frag each from the same group of frags. 8Ball gave me a frag for me to see if it changes its colors in my tank. We shall see....

Tomoko

I got one from 8Ball and it doesn't look like the one I have frags of. It's in the other tank and under 175w MH. This one came from the first swap in Nashville. The guy I got it from said it was an ORA. Besides that, Kwajrocks gave me one that the person she got it from said it was an Oregon Blue Tort. Both of them look identical to me. Go figure.

Montipora palawanensis ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ very thick plating structure ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ vibrant green ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ 1 -1 Ã"šÃ‚½ inch - $15
Would you consider selling the entire monti? If so lmk.
