AWESOME UPDATES!!! Only someone who has owned ER and ASM, really know how well H&S performs better that these other 2 companies. Not that the other 2 skimmers do not perform at all, but the quality of skim and how quickly it starts to skim again after the collection cup has been clean is outrageous compared to the other 2 models. Great photos. :)

Yeah there is no comparison in skimate . I use to get green to dark green with both my other skimmers and now I get dark funky black/brown/green it is supper bad when I dump the cup. Everyone runs including the dogs

Here's a small shot of the tank its running on.

Whoa! That's a monster! :D Can you post photos on the H&S/Fins Reef forum as well? Thanks for the photos and welcome to the Club.

Well I just saw this thread and decided to post mine after I got this skimmer after running ASM's I will not use any other skimmer. I am actually replacing my ASM on my other tank with a A200-1260. Here is my A200-3xF2001 Brian at Finsreef gave it to me at the price of the A200-1260 since he was out of them at the time.

where did you get the valve you have on your asm (the one i am assuming you are using to inject ozone. I need one of those!

I've noticed that my H&S reacts differently from my previous skimmers when I feed. Instead of it stopping, it surges a bit, then stops. I'm having to run it dryer than I'd like to avoid spillage when I feed.

Anyone else noticed/resolved this?

It is the output to a rio 800 .I used to have a Knop skimmer a long while back that used rio 800's .Everytime I replaced the pump I ended up with extra parts . One day I was like hey I wonder if that will work . Sure did.

NP it works great and I haven't even gone thru one yet.

You could also use a 1/4" nylon T .....Found at Home Depot or Lowes.I have even seen them at Ace. Even a John Guest fittings would work.

I am actually using a PVDF T from usplastics.com that is working fine, this fitting you had just looked like it was MADE to inject ozone :)

Well, Ive been looking at the H & S skimmers and finally have decided to get one here in the very near future. I have also put 2 and 2 together and realized that Brian of FinsReef is the owner operator of my LFS here in Shelby NC.....Hey Brian, im the guy who sold you the Red Tail Boas the Summer before last. Also love what you've done to that section of the store, your teasing me with that albino retic. Hope this isnt of topic, but thanks to all the people here and Eric at F&C's for helping with the decision.
