Ok so long story short i was gifted a dying haddoni, I put it in my aggressive tank (had a puffer/picasso/sebae clown) and it has been doing ok for the last month. The fish have stayed away from it so far but Today I woke up and could not find the puffer.... the nem is swollen huge (cause it obvoiusly ate the dam puffer). My question is with the venom that is in the meat of the puffer fish will the nem die?

It is what it is I guess, the nem was random anyways to get. Just curious what the result will be i guess.

It should be ok.

And not to sound like a stickler but puffers are poisonous not venomous, venom has to be injected like a snake bite or stonefish sting

I think poison would be correct, its in the puffers liver, and AFAIK no puffer species actually bite and inject it. Humans have died from consuming them(fugu).

Sorry for the misinformed comment.... poison. I know that its in their meat not their bite. So far the nem seems to be ok. It spit out the puffers bones picked clean this morning. Im still suprised it ate a spiny puffer with no problems.

I thrashed them, lol. Guess I should have taken a picture first. I didn't want them to remain in the tank and contaminate anything or cause any spikes. I did a 40% water change as well because it was time for a water change, and i figured a bigger one would help with any spike in nutrients.

Also the nem is still ok, although it has moved from its spot about 3 inches. other than that though its fine.
